Vision
For more than 150 years, Lincoln Hall has been committed to providing underserved youth that have experienced chronic trauma a haven for safety and support. Through education, skill building and mentoring, Lincoln Hall strives to develop lifelong learners and create a pathway to fulfill education, career and life balance aspirations. Our magnificent 450-acre property serves as the classroom that creates a transformative experience, building opportunity and hope for students, their families and their communities.

Family Reunification Program
Funded by US HHS, the Family Reunification Program at Lincoln Hall provides a safe haven for boys 12 to 17 years of age who have witnessed trauma, abandonment and/or abuse from caregivers. The program is designed to help these children reunite with relatives through intensive clinical assessment and case management.

Successful STEPS
Successful STEPS (Strengthening Families, Training, Employment, and Postsecondary Scholarships) provides career exploration, job training, and scholarship support for college or vocational training programs for NYC youth with traditional barriers to earning potential.
The program offers training for entry level jobs, internships, and college readiness. Successful STEPS partners with key community organizations to identify and develop needed opportunities and holds regular conversations within the community.

The Property is the Classroom
The Lincoln Hall property creates a transformative experience that sparks the imagination and opens the door to dream beyond what our students know. Just a short train ride from NYC, the property features 28 buildings including a dining hall, 300-seat auditorium, academic and vocational school buildings, and health center. The 454 acre campus is a recreational paradise with a gymnasium, swimming pool, track, and athletic fields.
